Vintage Brass Faux Bamboo Dining Set: 4 Chairs & Smoked Glass Table, France 1970s

Set of vintage brass faux bamboo dining 4 chairs and table made in Italy in the 1970s. This set of mid-century dining chairs and table decorate with gilt brass quality metal frames shaped like faux bamboo. Additional naturalistic details such as the stems and nodes, the arches on the corners keep the design gentle and elegant.

These chairs and table have generous size and practical addition to interiors such as Traditional, Modernist, Hollywood Regency, 70s retro or Contemporary. 

The quality metal frame of gilt brass has substantial weight. Suspended in the center of the frame, the original smoked glass appears to float, adding the lightness.

The glass top is removable and in very good condition with no chips or damages.

Structurally, the brass frame is stable and have the original antique light patina adding character. Each leg has the original metal stoppers at the end to protect the floor. The chairs are sturdy, reliable and extremely comfortable. The upholsters of the chairs has been qualitatively replaced.
